Trunk or Treat 2025

Join the Bolton Recreation Department and the Bolton Center School PTA for a Trunk or Treat and Fall fun!

This event will include games, pumpkin painting, face painting, yummy autumn treats, and more!

Trunks Needed!

When: Friday, October 24, 2025

Where: LOCATION CHANGE: BHS parking lot, 72 Brandy St, Bolton, CT 06043

When: Trunk Set up is from 4:30pm-5:30pm

Trick or Treating is from 5:30pm-7:30pm

Rain Date: Saturday, October 25 2025, 5:30pm-7:30pm

All trunks are required to provide their own festive

decorations as well as treats to pass out the night of.

When registering your trunk you are committing to

being available for BOTH the planned date, and the rain date!!!

All trunks must register with the Bolton Recreation

Department no later than Friday, October 17, 2025

Scarecrow Contest 2025

All ages are welcome to join in this event!

Bolton Recreation Department will provide the space and stake for the scarecrow. Each business/ family/group will receive a number in which your

scarecrow will be placed on. Set up will be set for the weekend of October 3-5. All Scarecrows must be on the Town Green on your stake by the end of the weekend. Scarecrows will be left up for the community to see until the weekend of November 1st. Judging and voting will be taken during this time at Bentley Memorial Library with prizes for the top winners at the end. The winners will be announced shortly after.

Cost: $20.00

Contest rules

1. All scarecrows must be stuffed, no full bodied mannequins

2. Business, Family and/or group must provide all materials that are needed

3. Scarecrows will be judged by their materials, creativity, construction and theme

4. No violent themes will be tolerated

5. Must be able to transport the scarecrowwithout driving across the lawn

1. Size of scarecrow must not exceed 6 feet in height

Winter Faire

When: Saturday December 6, 2025

Time: 9:00am-2:00pm

7:00am– Vendor set up begins

Join the Bolton Recreation Department for the

annual Winter Faire! Vendors and Crafters

interested in hosting a table/space at the fair can register with the Recreation Department today. Find the registration form on the Bolton Recreation Department Website.

Registration is due by November 14, 2025

Spaces are approximately 8’ X 10’

Cost per space: $30.00 before October 25

Cost per space: $40.00 prior to Nov 14 but after October 25
