Fall Afterschool- LEGO

S.T.E.A.M. in Motion Using LEGO® (Grades 3-5)

 

Who: Grades  3-5

When: Thursdays  10/09, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30, 11/6, 11/13, 11/20 make up if needed

Time: 3:15-4:15pm

Location: BCS  7/8th grade staff room

Cost:  $220

Children will work with standard LEGO® materials to problem-solve pre-engineering challenges involving structure, levers, gears, pulleys, and other elements of simple machines. Each class build will be introduced with a different story to start the lesson and post-project challenges. Projects may include wall rocket racers, battle top spinners, and flywheel cruisers. Benefits include: hands-on building skills, problem solving strategies, and understanding the building blocks of simple engineering.

Mad Science Afterschool 2025-2026

Secret Agent Lab - Fall 2025

 

Who: Grades  1-5

When: Tuesdays, 10/21-12/9 no class n/a makeup 11/4, 11/25 makeup if needed 12/16

Time: 3:15-4:15pm

Location: BCS  cafeteria

Cost:  $160

 

Develop your special agent and detective skill in this super hands-on program! Uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis. Sharpen your secret agent skills and discover how chemistry and the science of forensics can come to the aid of a secret agent. Identify and collect evidence – from fingerprints to tracks to trash! Secret agents-in-training will use science and awesome technological tools to connect the dots and help sniff out the suspects in this investigation into the science of sleuthing.

 

Ready STEM Go -Winter 2025-2026

 

Who: Grades  k-5

When: Tuesdays,  1/13-3/10 no class 2/17 makeup if needed 3/17

Time: 3:15-4:15pm

Location: BCS  cafeteria

Cost:  $210.00

 

In this program, students learn foundational science and find out how STEM is at work in the world around them! They learn about the animal kingdom, both on land and under the sea. They make mixtures and explore the science of motion and energy. They also discover the

technology that powers our modern world.

 

NASA Space & Beyond – Spring 2026

 

Who: Grades  k-5

When: Tuesdays, 4/7-5/19 no class 4/14 makeup if needed 5/26 Time: 3:15-4:15pm

Location: BCS  cafeteria

Cost:  $160.00

 

When students join this program after school, they join us for an exploration of some of our favorite classes. We could be confronting aliens in one class, chemistry in the next and maybe even some art concepts. This program offers something for everyone! A science-related take-home activity accompanies every class.

Game Dates: matches will be on Saturdays against
other towns, dates and times TBD.

Parents will need to transport their athletes to and from matches, Locations and schedule TBD

Come join us to learn the game of tennis or to improve your game! Group (team) instruction/practice will occur after school at Bolton High School. You’ll learn the strokes, you’ll learn how to keep score, and you’ll improve on what you know.

Play tennis matches to be held on Saturdays during the season. This program is run independently from the local schools and Boards of Education.

Open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, boys and girls. No tennis experience is needed, as we will teach the basics. Students should wear sneakers, comfortable clothes, and bring a water bottle. Bring a racquet if you have one, loaners also available.

Practices will be held immediately after school from 3:30-5:00. The bus will pick the kids up at BCS (Bus TBD) and will be dropped off at BHS. Parents will need to pick up their athletes from BHS at the end of practice.
